Hardware Pixel Buffers are a special kind of buffer that stores graphical data in graphics card memory, generally
for use as textures. Pixel buffers can represent a one dimensional, two dimensional or three dimensional image. A texture can consist of a multiple of these buffers.
</P><P>

In contrary to vertex and index buffers, pixel buffers are not constructed directly. When creating a texture, the necessary pixel buffers to hold its data are constructed automatically.
